I have enrolled in a program offered through Yalla Baladi General Liability Waiver I recognize that the program may involve strenuous physical activity including, but not limited to, muscle strength and endurance training, cardiovascular conditioning and training, and other various fitness activities. I agree to inform my instructors of any injuries, limitations, or health issues (including pregnancy) that currently exist, and any that arise in the future. I hereby affirm that I am in good physical condition and do not suffer from any known disability or condition which would prevent or limit my participation in this exercise program. I acknowledge that my enrollment and subsequent participation is purely voluntary and is in no way mandated by Yalla Baladi. In consideration of my participation in this program I release and hold harmless Yalla Baladi, its owners and operators, and any instructors at the studio, from any and all liability, claims, demands, and causes of action whatsoever, arising out of or related to any personal injury, death, damage or loss of personal belongings, that may be sustained by the participant and/or the undersigned, while in or upon the premises or any premises under the control and supervision of Yalla Baladi, its owners and operators or in route to or from any of said premises. I permit Yalla Baladi and its instructors to contact me via social media, personal email and subscribed newsletter. Class Policies Respect your fellow students, the teacher, and any staff on location. Abusive language and actions of any kind (racism, sexism, xenophobia, homophobia, antisemitism, islamophobia etc.) and any form of physical or verbal harassment will not be tolerated, and the student will be asked to leave the class and studio building immediately. No refund will be given. Payment and Refunds Classes must be paid for in full before the first class of a session. There are no refunds or transfers on classes or workshops. All sales are final Yalla Baladi may cancel a session for reasons such as low enrollment & if this occurs, you will be notified & refunded for any paid outstanding classes. Missed Classes If you miss a class, you may take another class during the same session as a make-up. It is your responsibility to arrange this. Please talk to the instructor prior to the make up class to ensure that the class you want to take is appropriate. If you are unable to make up missed classes in the current session, up to 4 classes can be made up in the following session, if: the student is registered for all weeks of the next session (does not apply to partial sessions) and upon approval by the instructor. Cancelled Classes If a class has to be cancelled because a snowstorm or other weather event, please check Facebook, as I am not always able to contact all students directly.  In the case of unforeseen class cancellations, I will make all efforts to contact you.You will either receive a free make up class or credit for one extra class. Covid Procedures and Liabilities If you are not feeling well or have been told to self-isolate or have been in contact with a known case of the virus, please do not attend class. Students must sanitize hands upon entry (There is a bottle on the front desk). Masks are mandatory during class time. Yalla Baladi and Dreamlight Studio cannot be held responsible for any sicknesses contracted as a result of participating in classes or for any health issues/fainting that results from students wearing masks while dancing. Distancing measures are not currently in effect, but please respects others space as some people have different requirement for personal space. Future Closures: If government lockdown or opening restrictions return and prevent us from operating at any point during the 2022/23 season, all classes will turn to online classes via Zoom and/or digital medium via weekly pre-recorded Youtube or Vimeo videos. Refunds will not be made available unless restrictions/closures occur before the beginning of a session.
